The Paint Crew Foreman is responsible for supervising staff painters, communicating daily tasks, and monitoring painting techniques, adherence to specifications, general safety and clean up.

We are in a dynamic growth stage and are currently accepting applications to fill a Foreman position for our Painting crew. We are looking for a key team member to help us continue our growth trend from 2024 who enjoys painting and putting a smile on our client’s faces.


COMPENSATION: $25.00 - $30.00 PER HOUR

(with potential for bonuses)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FULL-TIME POSITION

BENEFITS INCLUDE: 3% MATCHING SIMPLE IRA RETIREMENT PLAN, GROUP INSURANCE AND SICK LEAVE.



Minimum Position Requirements





  • Business is located in Corvallis - reliable transportation for commute to/from office location required.
  • Applicants must be available to work Monday through Friday. All candidates must be able to work on feet all day, going up and down ladders as needed. No fear of heights (within reason).
  • Must be drug free and eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply. An insurable driver's license is a requirement and the ability to drive a company vehicle is preferred.
  • All candidates must be able to follow all safety rules associated with the job.


Required Knowledge and Skills





  • At least 2+ years of proven professional painting experience
  • Skilled at working on high ladders (and on roof tops using proper safety equipment)
  • Solid knowledge of the preparation and application of paints, stains, and surface preparation materials to a wide variety of surfaces.
    • Pressure washing, scraping, caulking, priming, and taping/masking skills
    • Broad knowledge of prepping and painting techniques
    • Experience using scrapers, sanders, and hand tools
    • Experience applying a variety of materials such as latex and oil-based paints, stains, sealers and clear coats
    • Solid spray and brush/roll skills.
  • Assumes personal responsibility for a high-quality finished product
  • Basic Carpentry skills a plus
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds and setting up ladders up to 28' without assistance 
  • Familiar with OSHA safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and material handling, application and disposal.
  • Committed to customer service and accuracy, for both the company & its customers.
  • Quality minded focus, ability to complete jobs right the first time.
  • Positive attitude, strong interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated professionalism.


Essential Functions





  • Obtains work orders for the day, taking time to assure a clear understanding of the job requirements.
  • Organizes and sets a plan of action to complete the assigned tasks to meet project budget, including verifying job location and assuring van and required equipment are ready each day.
  • Verifies adequate crew is available and properly prepared for work. Instructs painters on specific job details and any unusual requirements of the job.
  • Ensures all required painting supplies, equipment and PPE gear have been obtained for the job and loaded into the van.
  • Checks in with customer at job site prior to beginning work and maintains communication between Customer, Manager and crew.
  • Ensures all surfaces are properly prepared prior for painting. Oversees crew and inspects the job site throughout the day, assuring job is completed in accordance to specifications and Bullfrog standards.
  • Train crewmembers on essential skills to ensure Bullfrog professional standards and quality workmanship are achieved.
  • Assures team is working safely, following safety guidelines, utilizing proper protective equipment, and monitors compliance with OSHA regulations. Immediately reports all unsafe acts and/or equipment to Manager.
  • Monitors adherence to break and lunch schedules. Verifies accuracy of crew’s time records.
  • Completes final punch list in accordance with company policy, obtains required approval, and assures proper completion of job.
  • Collects payment from customer when requested by manager at time of job completion.
  • Completes daily reports (progress reports, tool and material requirements, and vehicle maintenance and inspection) and assures all required information is communicated to the Manager.
  • Communicates anticipated start dates with upcoming customers for scheduled paint jobs.
